Many models of the Avro Lancaster bomber are available, but for the real lover of Lancs there can never be enough! Recently the Lancaster Bomber Collection was brought to my attention. It's "S for Sugar", sent to you on a subscription base - meaning that you get 4 issues a month, each consisting of a magazine and a new set of parts. There are quite a lot of other goodies involved too, so it might be worth your while to go have a look at their Lancaster models sales site.

Be well!

I've just bought the first issue too, and from what I've seen I'll also be giving it a miss, which is a shame as it sounded a refreshing change from the norm!

Nice looking card model Ian!

Be well and prosper!

As a young drunk I lived for a while in Australia, way back in 1966 and 1967. I've been slightly evil ever since... (wide grin)!

Hi daveg61 from wollongong here, newby to this forum, didnt see the sense in forking out a  lot of money for the hachette  lancaster. bought the airfix 1/72 12 inch model. my main hobby is matchstick models. i will try to make my own lancaster at a later stage.

I saw a 1/16th Avro Lancaster made out of matches and what a sight that was ! The builder first made a frame out of alloy then built the matches around it. Flippen gorgous even the props turned slowly  Cool
